Is this normal? Or production miss?

Any one else having daylight coming from below the center bottom drawers in master bedroom slideout? Common issue or did my New Aire miss a step in production? I have been trying to understand why my bedroom stay warmer than rest of coach.

Would like to think it is not normal. A quick call to Newmar should provide some answers. Good luck

Calling Newmar is a good first step, but they are most likely going to refer you to a dealer. Have you pulled that drawer out and looked behind it? Small black levers at the end of the track, one up one down. If you suspect an area you might try shining a flash light from the inside at night. Keep us posted Stuart

Check under your slideout when it is extended. It looks as if you may be missing the bottom seal.

It could be as simple as the rubber seal being caught up on something or just not sitting right when the slide is open/closed. When ours was new we had a similar issue with the bedroom slide. I checked the side seal and it was binding up leaving a small opening allowing light to come through. I just put some 303 on it and flexed it in an out by hand making sure it was flexible enough to adjust to the slide going in/out. We haven't had the problem since.

Is it me or do others also think that since they increased production. Consistently followed by Quality Inspection is lacking.
Would be nice to know if each coach model has there own QI checklist. If any changes are made it has to go through a management of Change process, thus each area in production knows of change and has signed off on training including QI to keep things in check!

That is something that could have been just fine during the build and delivery of the MH, and then occurred after the MH had sat for a while with the slide in, and the seal just did not seat right. Now if the whole seal is missing that is another story. I would check it out before jumping to lack of quality control.

Not just talking about this one particular problem. Reading the New Aire post and the DS post on kinked roof drain lines, just to name a couple

Problem may be unique to New Aire 3341 as the configuration is not similar to any of the other slide outs. It has the unique notch.

Nothing unique about that. It is exactly the same as the vanity slideout in my coach.

I noticed just a bit of light coming through at the end of rear PS slideout. Seems to be just as you are describing because it is hit or miss. I’ll have to try 303 next time we travel.

Quick sidebar: your flooring choice is not standard. Did you opt for the King Aire floor? Happy? In talking to my dealer and wanting a wood floor in my 3341 that is the option he gave me. ~thanks
