It Really Was That Easy!

I finished the install of the EMS-HW50C. Of course no install ever gets done without some kind of drama. I got everything hooked up, and went to test it, and nothing happened. There was no power to the motorhome. The remote display lit up, but no power out. Since I don't have 50 amp service available to the MH, I was using a dog bone to at least get 120V. Turns out, since I had never used the dog bone before, I wasn't aware of how it worked. You need to plug in both the 30 amp plug AND 15 amp plug. So I was only powering 1 leg going into the HW50C. After a phone call to Progressive Industries (yes the returned my call on Sunday), I got my part straitened out. Everything works fine. One more trip to Lowes for a stress relief clamp for the power cord (left side of unit).

BPoland, your install looks very good. Feels good to know you have done what you can to protect your rig.
