ITR Oasis Twin Temp Leaking

Hi All. I am looking for any insight into possible direction I can take with my new to me 2010 Ventana 4333 and the Oasis Twin Temp hot water leak. We had hot water and the reservoir was full for about a week. I noticed the exhaust pipe was leaking fluid and the reservoir was empty and called Newmar CS and ITR CS who eventually told me to get to a service center. I am about a week away from being able to get back to a service center and live full time in the rig.

Any idea on what the problem could be causing this or ran into before? Thanks.

The water you are seeing from exhaust is probably just condensation; but I am afraid that the leak from unit itself is probably caused by the tank having a hole in it. TwinTemp was using aluminum tanks in 2010 - 2011 they now have changed to stainless tanks. You can in my opinion keep using the unit till you get to service center by just keep adding distilled water to tank. Unless you find the leak some where other than tank, you are looking at a very expensive repair. i would also recommend you contact Gary Wulfmeyer at PrecisionTemp 1-800-934-8690 ext 109

Good Luck

I forgot to add that there is no hot water when only using the Oasis although the fan motor runs it seems to not fire up. We do get hot water (minimal) when I turn on the onboard AC switch. I thought it might be a hole in the system. Fortunately it is covered under maintenance/insurance policy if tank needs replacement.

Is this the one you have? http://www.irv2.com/forums/f84/hydro...ues-65314.html
I have the diesel, put over 300 hours on it this winter, love it.

I know this won't help solve your problem but it looks like your unit is not made by Oasis but is actually a Precision Temp product. That is what I found when I googled it. RV and Trailer - PrecisionTemp This might help you find answers better.

Thanks. I was using the generic term I thought appropriate and it is a Precision Temp manufactured unit. On to getting it completely replaced after a month of going back and forth with dealer and warranty company. New Stainless tank and new boards and switches - keeping my fingers crossed for completion tomorrow.
