Bob, I too have been following the saga of the Essex you had. I hope Newmar took care of you(are there any lessons we can learn from this?). I hope the next owner of your former coach will know what they are getting in to??
Congratulations on the new coach. It looks like a real beauty.

I did briefly consider a preowned Newell or a Marathon but quite honestly I felt I got MORE coach for the money with the LADP.

Comfort Drive is WONDERFUL and not available on any other coach, the 600HP ISX isn't an option on the Marathon, nor are FOUR SLIDES an option in ANY of the coaches.

It is really a great rig!! And I saw it in person with Bob last week... my only concern is that now that you have moved to the K3 chassis, those of us with K2's don't want to lose our champion advocate with Spartan. Keep up the good informational hotline.

Good luck, Bob! I guess this means we won't be seeing you hanging around Wilmington as much in the future. Take care.

Bob, BJ and I want again to thank you for your
hospitality, and man did you buy the best rig at
Tampa. It is head and shoulders above all others.

The pics do not do it justice.

Bob, did Newmar stand behind your Essex purchase and do the right thing? I am not concerned with details of your dealings with Newmar... just want to know if I should consider Newmar for the future or start looking at the Prevost conversions or a Newell. We all know that motor homes will have mechanical issues, but if they have flawed design, engineering and/or manufacturing and the management does not stand behind their product, then what good are they? I have looked at American's Heritage, but Fleetwood scares the heck out of me.

Congratulations Bob. You showed the patience of a saint with the Essex, lets hope that patience is not needed with your new rig.

Many happy TROUBLE-FREE miles

Congrats Bob.
That is one extremely sharp looking rig. The colors remind me of my 2004 Allegro Bus. Of course that's about the only thing the LADP has in common with it.

That has got to be one sweet ride and you certainly deserve it. Be sure to post plenty of pics once you get the chance.

JerryKelly, I'm thinking my "actions" in purchasing the LADP speak volumes about the committment Newmar has with it's customers..

How about if I told you I also plan to become a LIFE member of the Newmar Kountry Klub?
