Bob, great to hear that your purchase was for all of thr right reasons. So far, I have been impressed with Newmar and Spartan, even with the imperfections I have experienced.
If you ever travel to Northern Michigan in the summer months, send me an email.

We will be at Pelican Lake in mid March.

Best of luck...perhaps our paths will cross some day.

Thanks Jerry....Frankenmuth and the U.P. are on my "must see" list, not sure if I can work it in this year's schedule.

Nappanee/Bremen in March,a desire to see Rushmore and then the NKK National in Gillette in June before the iRV2 National in July...

Bob,

Let me know when you plan to go to Frankenmuth. Our family is from Michigan and we are very good friends w/the Jellystone owners there.

We always are looking for an excuse to go visit.

Bob,

Any chance at a high level review of some really special features. Seems like the Essex had the best of everything.

I have had the great pleasure of seeing the inside of Peter's coach. That would be my reference point.

BTW, I'm sure the cabinetry and decor are even more impressive, gold inlay or something.

I'm more interested in technology, features, functions etc. Such as the driver's seat, do you float on a magnetic field? Can it hook up to W/E/S through voice command?

Seriously though, would love to know what the K3 gives you vs. the K2, any other cool electronics in the coach itself? Maybe it's too early yet as you haven't taken delivery.

I'm even excited about it.

Bob It's great to see you so happy with Newmar.
Can you share the deal they made with you. did they buy back the Essex, did they deep discount the London Air for your pain and suffering. It's great to see the manufacturers taking care of their loyal customers.

Scott, the LA does in fact have heated and massage driver and passenger seats and the heated floor is standard on the LA...
There isn't a magnetic field that I'm aware of,other than the magnetized feeling I felt while sitting in the seat...

Steve, Newmar made me a very happy camper...

Scott, I'll go through and look at the LA docs and come up with a better answer for you, as there are several differences in the EXDP and the LADP other than the chassis and the door configuration.

Bob,
Just read the great news. Congratulations. We are wishing you 500,000 plus trouble free miles (not even a loose cabinet handle). Thanks for sharing the news and please keep us in the loop as to how the new baby performs.

Bob,
I add my congratulation to all those who have posted. I got to see your LA before you closed the deal and they locked it up. It is an outstanding floor plan. The cockpit has almost as many buttons and switches as the space shuttle. It looks like you'll be spending some time in South Florida. Be carefull you could get used to our climate. The best of luck to Lori and you. May you have more happy miles the you think possible.

Bob, skip Frankenmuth and the UP and head straight to the Traverse City area. (We will stay in Frankenmuth occasionally when tired). The lakes and countryside are gorgeous. We loved it so much, we bought a site at Traverse Bay RV Resort and a boat on Torch Lake. In over 40,000 miles of RV traveling along the east coast, we have never found a place as nice as northern Michigan.

Bob,
Congratulations on such a beautiful rig! You have chosen the floorplan that we would have chosen - if we were buying a LA.

May Lori & you enjoy many carefree miles in this one ...although you always had such great posts when you had problems - so please keep us entertained with your great adventures as well!
