My Dutchstar will not turn over in our current temps (25-35 degrees), and I cannot get the motorhome or generator to turn over either, even using the battery boost switch. I cannot access the battery drawer because the 5-th wheel parked next to me in storage is about 3 inches too close, preventing me from fully opening the door.

I have a jump starter from O'Reillys with 1000 amps so I need to hear any suggestions about alternative sites at the generator or engine and where they might be located so I can get the generator started and let it charge the batteries back up. I was able to get the generator started two weeks ago using the battery boost. The cells were full of H2O late November, and the MH was purchased 08/2006.

Any suggestions?

I can see 3 possible charger connections:
1) Connect the charger, the 1000 Amp to the STarter at the engine,if you can get under the MH. Be very careful that the polarity is correct!
2)Connect a regular battery charger for a few hours to the cigarette lighter socket.
3)Connect the 1000 amp charger to the heavy positive wire stud in the cabinet below the driver seat ( that where my chassis electrical connections are in an 05 KSDP )and find also a good chassis ground.
In any case,it would be best to connect just a regular charger overnight,it's safer.
