Just joined the Newmar Club!

Attachment 216617Greetings,

We just jumped back into the RV life with a 2001 Newmar Mountain Aire 3758 on a Ford platform. So far I am loving this coach, very nice appointments and frankly easy to work on. This is our third class A over the years, we had a mid 90's Itasca, an early 2000 Daybreak and now this.

Sealed the roof edges with Eternabond tape, resealed all the other openings and then added two coats of rubber roof paint. Some small dried out dry rot in a section of the roof, but injected wood penetrating epoxy before sealing the roof and hoping it will be stable.

Walls all sound good, dense and solid. Engine is smooth and just had new brakes put on before we picked it up. Lightning the load by pulling the old electronics out of the RV and the old dish off the roof. Looking forward to some great road trips this fall.

A Big Welcome to the Newmar family. You made a good choice and another good choice is to join the Newmar Kountry Klub which is Newmar's factory support owners club. Lots of good information here on irv2 Newmar forum and if you have questions we have answers from other owners. Welcome and see you down the road.

We will be closing on our New 2018 King Aire on Friday. Just traded our 2017 Entegra Cornerstone. Needed bigger windows! Stay Safe!

Thanks Guys, hope to spend some great informative and engaged conversations with you. The Cornerstone was never our issue it was the transition to Jayco two month's after purchase that we sensed an alarm with service response and in the final months we've received excellent response from our service rep Les at Entegra and have no issues with them as well as NIRVC, a company that is truly a Pioneer for us ultra Rver's and learning a new way to take care of us. Not there yet but the best out there at least out there trying. I am an eight year naval Submarine Veteran and we chose a traditional darker interior in the Entegra and the newer modern lighter interior and "huge" windows on the king Aire were my answer to my claustrophobic and PTSD concerns so I could keep on enjoying this great lifestyle at a cost suitable to our needs. Uh, More money! Go for it! Excited for Friday and a new much brighter Road on a less traveled journey. Stay Safe!
