Attachment 216617Greetings,
We just jumped back into the RV life with a 2001 Newmar Mountain Aire 3758 on a Ford platform. So far I am loving this coach, very nice appointments and frankly easy to work on. This is our third class A over the years, we had a mid 90's Itasca, an early 2000 Daybreak and now this.
Sealed the roof edges with Eternabond tape, resealed all the other openings and then added two coats of rubber roof paint. Some small dried out dry rot in a section of the roof, but injected wood penetrating epoxy before sealing the roof and hoping it will be stable.
Walls all sound good, dense and solid. Engine is smooth and just had new brakes put on before we picked it up. Lightning the load by pulling the old electronics out of the RV and the old dish off the roof. Looking forward to some great road trips this fall.
