KIB Stairwell Lights - 2018 DS

The lights in our stairwell no longer come on when the front door is opened. Does anyone have any thoughts? I checked the fuses in the Front Baggage compartment and they are fine. I believe the KIB control box is in the dash. Is this something a semi-novice can tackle, or am I wiser to have someone who is more experienced take a look at?

It could be the round magnetic switch in the door jamb. I believe one is for the Kwikee steps, one for the stair/cockpit lights, and the third being a spare. I had the one for the steps go bad.

You may want to carefully pull the switch out of the door jamb and test for continuity or bypassing it to see if the lights come on.
