Kitchen faucet water pressure

Have a question on Water pressure for kitchen faucet. 19’ Essex has low water pressure on kitchen faucet but seems ok in all other areas. Not hooked up to water and pump seems fine. Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated!

Unscrew the screen from the end of the faucet & check to see if it is plugged up. The screens come apart & can be cleaned. ( usually plugged with tiny stones )

I'm having the same problem, cleaning the screen seems logical but why would it seem fine with the water pump? We are also having issues with the spray mode sticking on and can't get the steady stream to work. Has anyone put a new cartridge in one of these faucets? Thanks

We had issues with the original kitchen faucet from day one. Low pressure at times, difficult to change from stream to spray, etc. Newmar replaced it under warranty and the new one worked fine for about 6 months, but now the same problem is occurring. Wonder why the MFG doesn't put their name on these faucets? I'm just going to bit the bullet and replace it with a reliable brand.

Us too, but the first replacement worked for only about 2 weeks.

When we were in Nappanee this year for service we replaced it with the newer (2020) head and it’s been working fine. Cheap fix but it does have an alignment pin that our faucet doesn’t so it sticks out just a little.

I could probable file it flush but don’t want to take a chance of messing up the looks if I screw it up!

You could order it from Newmar if you’re out of warranty or if in maybe they’ll send you one.

Thanks for the help! Was able to clean up the screens and it seems to be flowing “better”. Still not ideal but workable. Appreciate the guidance.

Hi - Our '18 DS had issues with the sprayer but the '20 is just fine. The '18 had an alignment pin but the '20 doesn't. Not sure what they gave you.

Hello,

We had an issue with ours today. The weight on the hose under the sink had slipped, and caused a kink blocking the flow. Moved it back to the middle, and seems to work fine.

Sprayer Model Trickle

My kitchen faucet has a sprayer without a screw on cap to clean the screen. How do I remove the sprayer to clean the screen?

Most major kitchen faucets have a restrictor placed between the spray head and the hose. If you unscrew the two of them, (and be careful to NOT let the hose go back into the faucet arm,) you should see a plastic button of some type. That could be removed to increase water flow as well. All of this depends on your individual faucet but worth a look.

Got the spray head unscrewed but didn't find any button. There seems to be a pin in the side but don't know how to remove it.

Is there a plastic piece that has a hole in it, smaller then the actual hose, that could possibly be removed to increase the hose diameter?
