Koni Shocks for 1999 DSDP

HI Folks
I have never changed the shocks in my coach since I owned it. I am going to go with the Konis and wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with some of the their model choices. My coach is a 1999 on a Freightliner chassis with a Cat engine. Looking at the koni web site they have several models, the EVO 99 model has characteristics that smooth over expansion joints in concrete roads and other bumps. The FSD looks also like a great shock eliminating vibrations before getting into the chassis. I have a guy at Freightliner who is good but does not know the koni line so I thought I would get other input. Thanks
Jim Meehan

Looking at the Koni website for your year coach, it looks like you can put the FSD's on the rear and the Koni RED and Koni FSD's look like they're available for the front. I find the Koni RED's are not much help, but if they're the only shock available, they'll be better than nothing. Go with the FSD's all the way around if you can.

The Koni EVO shocks are for a IFS front suspension. If that is what you have, get them. If not, you need the REDs. The EVOs made a very positive improvement to our MADP.

Koni FSDs

Hi Don
Since their are adjustable how would you think I should set them?
Jim

I have installed the Koni EVO on our coach and they were great. Ride is so much comfortable. Old shocks were worn out.
