Kwikie Step Maintenance

What do you use to periodically lubricate the Kwikie Step mechanism. I would have figured silicone spray or WD-40. However manufacturer suggested their own spray grease. I am trying to avoid a plethora of specialized maintenance sprays and use a few universal but effective lubricants.

I learned about Boeshield T9 here on this forum. It is wax based and resists attracting dirt while it lubricates. You can find it online, Amazon, and camping world.

WD40 not really a lube. Spray chain line will get into the joint and leave acgrease film...wipe off any excess.

I guess I just have to reprogram my thoughts. WD40 was my go to for a long long time. It looks like for lubrication purposes the kwiklube or Boeshield T-9 are better suited for the job. Thanks!

A can of kwiklube will last many years if only used for the steps.
