I've had my mo-ho now for six months and just like all of a sudden, I noticed a switch in my control panel above the door, that I cannot find out what it is for. I've searched all the documentation that came with it, and no luck. Can anyone give me a clue?

It says L.P. and it's next to the T.V. BOOSTER switch. It is in the off position. I've never turned it on and everything seems to work fine.

It's to turn OFF the LP detector.... I'm guessing,as in my previous Winnebago's it's because while in storage, they're a battery eating gremlin.

BOB is correct. Please understand it controls the battery power to the LP DECTECTOR. I strongly urge you to turn it ON, whenever the coach is NOT in storage. You should see an intermittant green light flashing on the dectector, WHEN the switch is ON. It does not shut off the flow of LP from your tank, as some may tell you. If you want to shut off the GAS, turn the hand valve on the tank. ED

If after you put the switch on and the little green light doesn't wink at you there is a 1 amp fuse in the ckt,it may be missing like mine was, you may find it under hood right hand side in a coil of wires for extra stuff. Just put in the fuse and your good to go. The LP detector may save your life someday if you have a gas leak in your MH, ITS VERY NECESSARY.

Thanks alot guys!
I knew someone here would know. I thought the only way to turn off the propane was the handle at the tank. And someone did tell me they thought it was an emergency shut off for the propane. But I just didn't think about the detector And I've been out on three trips so far.
You sure can tell I'm a newbie.

007 is the ckt you are typing about on the right side as you face the engine compartment? In other words is it on the drivers side
