Question Large rectangular wash bucket

Been lookig everywhere for a wide deep bucket with a grit gaurd at the bottom. Cant find anything. I saw one somewhere on a site someone posted, but cant remember where. The cost is no big deal since i cant find one. Ssems like there would be a market for one that RV people would buy.

This one is not 20, but rather 18". I have used it for 4 years and very happy with it.

Bucket and wash pad.

Mary Poppins makes a wide 13” wash pad and holder. Buckets are 12” along with a 12 “ grit gaurd. Why did they make a 13” pad with no 13” buckets? Their 9 inch one seems a little small. HELP. Am I making this too tough?

How about this one from Griot's Garage? It is 19"x9"x9"...close to your 20" wish.

Same one I have used for years! I use nothing but Griots for washing.

All ordered. Cheaper to order from Griots Garage than Amazon. Also bit the bullet and ordered the 13” Mary Moppins lambs wool pad and holder. My wife said ive been obsessing for two years over the correct bucket! Been looking for a long time. Thanks for the input.

Hey folks, I thought I would tag onto this thread as I have a somewhat related question and you helped find the rectangular bucket with grit guard very quickly. I have been searching the web for a long handled windshield squeegee/bug sponge that is wider than the typical 8-10" variety. I think something 12-14" would be ideal to wash a large coach windshield. Ideally it would have a telescoping handle or be able to screw onto the one I already have. Thanks in advance for your guidance. Enjoy the day!

Head over to Unger's website. They have a squeegee for anything.

Been using their equipment for years in my business.

They also have the bucket but without the grit guard thingy.

I have found that the wider scrubbers don't work as well at removing bug residue from windshields when used on an extension pole. They spread the pressure over a wider area and don't seem to knock the dried on bugs loose as well.

What I use is this...

https://www.amazon.com/RV-Windshield...70_&dpSrc=srch

It goes on the end of my Ettore window squeegee pole and the rougher of the two cloth pads works best most of the time. For really tough bugs, I use the "abrasive" pad. It is like Scotch Brite.

Just plain water and the rough cloth pad works well for me 99% of the time. After scrubbing the bugs off, I do a quick water rinse and finish with a 12" squeegee.

I do like the look of the Unger Strip Cleaner...

https://www.ungercleaning.com/p-1104...-complete.aspx

I may give that one a try too. Can't have too many window cleaning tools, right?

Thank you for your suggestion. This Unger scrubber is good suggestion at 14 or 18"
. What type of pole does it accept? I have a standard threaded extension pole and would prefer to not buy a new pole.
