Lead time on new London Aire

Just looking to order a new London Aire or Mountain Aire and I was told delivery would not be until February 27 2015. I guess they are quite popular. 2016's will be out in June. Perhaps I would do better ordering early next year.

Dealer info, or factory ?
If dealer , that may be a ploy to make you consider one they have in stock.
I don't know what the average factory order time would be , but I'd question that length of time.

Ken Williamson was the source So I would tend to believe him. When I ordered previous 4 coaches it was 8 weeks.
Thanks, Daryl

Freightliner is having a suppler problem and that is whats slowing done production.

The radiator maker can make them fast enough.

I have heard they are now 5 months out. I have had many conversations with Ken through the ordering process on mine. He said the orders coming in are much better than expected.

From what I've been seeing on other forums that is about the right timeline.

Since your going to be in in 15 already when you get it, and the unit has all you want, why not utilize the delivery time to get a few more $$$$ off?
That would be my play !!!! I am sure there is no must haves in the 16!

The good news is Newmar is building 40 coaches a week. The bad news is the high line coaches (end in Aire) must be spaced out with the less complicated standard (ends in Star) line coaches. Newmar can not make 40 Aire coaches in one week. I'm not sure of the ratio. Last week, as best I could tell, 3 KGDB, 2 Essex, 3 LADB and 2 MADP came off the line. I do not know if this is typical. The rest were standard line coaches. The bulk of there were DSDP and Bay Star.
