LED light failure on Girard Nova awning

The light string on one of my awnings has developed many bad lights. It worked fine on the last pre-pandemic trip. The lights on the other awning are fine. Has anyone else seen this problem? I'd appreciate any feedback.Click image for larger version

We had the same issue on our rear awning with several LEDs that failed. We made a special trip to Girard's Service facility in S CA and they replaced the LED strip. Within a few months all but the first 2 feet or so of it stopped working. A close inspection indicated the LED strip had a break which basically disconnected the remainder of the LEDs. I'll likely end up trying to replace it myself as an 800 mile round trip to Girard is not going to happen.
