LEDs dimmable?

Our 2017 Baystar is all LED lighting, works great. However, the LEDs over the dinnette are really bright and it would be great if we could put them on a dimmer. Anyone know if these can be put on a dimmer?

Hi - Some LEDs can be dimmed and some can't. I'd call Newmar to ask them or look up the led by manufacturer and model to see their specs. You might do just as well by getting a different type of LED that is different in it's "whiteness" or has a lower output.

This is the recommended one, but there are cheaper alternatives. https://smile.amazon.com/ITC-21030-B...led+dimmer+12v

.... yup ... some can be dimmed ... some can't (they just go off/on). I adjusted mine by selecting an Led with less lumens. Typically, you also want Warm White or the light looks a bit harsh. It's like photography, the color is influenced by surroundings (cabinet/floor/window tint/upholstery. The dreaded "paint looked awesome in Home Depot"

John, that looks like a nice device. I need to take some measurements etc. to see how I'd install it so it looks like it belongs there. Also will probably send and email to Newmar JUST to make sure my particular LEDs can be dimmed.

Thanks all for the input!
