What do you guys wipe your leveling jacks down with? Silicone, WD40, detailing wax?

WD40 it is. They have been extended and a lot of dirt has been blowing around.

I'll spray WD40 about once or twice a year on mine while doing preventive maintenance and lubrication.

I use WD-40 once a year unless the jacks really get dirty. Then I'll repeat the process.

I do mine before retracting if they've been extended for more than overnight , just part of the load out.

One more vote for WD40, spray on and wipe off. Usually once or twice a year. The shafts should not get that dirty unless the are extended for a very long time.

Silicon Only
Years ago I read somewhere that WD40 is not good for hydraulic seals — that using it can result in fluid leaks on hydraulic jacks. That said, I have no real evidence that the caution is based in fact. But since then I have only used pure silicon spray to lube the pistons. I do that several times per year. No leaks.

Another WD40 user. Not as a lubricant as a cleaning fluid. Spray it on wipe it off. Just as HWH recommends.

Just as we did with all aircraft and heavy equipment hydraulic actuators, use the same fluid that's in the reservoir. That's most likely ATF.

If HWH says WD-40, that’s good enough for me. No need to reinvent the wheel

Maddawg46,
I suspect you have Equalizer jacks and not HWH. Attached is the recommended maintenance of their system, which does include wiping with WD-40 or similar.
