Leveling jacks won't deploy 2018 King Aire

I auto stored the jacks on my 2018 King Aire, push the "cancel" button in the middle and pushed the "auto level" button. Nothing happened, so I pushed the "Auto store" button and completed the process of storing the jacks and coach is now at travel ready level. I went to try and push the "auto level" button to level the coach again and nothing happens AND now my steps into the coach won't completely deploy..like they are catching on something.

Your step Curb sensor on the Botton of the lower step has failed. Maybe it got really wet. The jacks will NOT go down and stairs will jam about 1/3 of the way out. It could also effect the full wall slide. There is a way to by pass the sensor. There are two sensors on the steps. one on the bottom and one on the front. You can switch the plugs under the steps and everything will work again until you get new lower sensor. HWH part number P567017. There is a recall repair to by pass the step system system and drop the steps to full extend . it is covered under warranty. Call Craig Garl at Newmar in the morning and he can talk you through it. 888-890--1741. Its the same issue I had a few months ago.

good luck Al

We have a 18 LA and have had issues a couple times with step, full wall slide and jacks. When at the factory in August Newmar put a HWH switch to reset system in the above drivers seat cabinet. Hold switch down for 5 sec. and it resets all HWH systems.

Thank you...that was it. I did speak with Newmar and unplugged the curb safety plug under the step and all is working. I just have to be careful not to damage my step now until I get it repaired.

we had the HWH switch to reset system in the above drivers seat cabinet. Hold switch down for 5 sec. and it resets all HWH systems. Did it at factory in sept. No more issues.
