Light Switches

We have a new to us 2000 Newmar Mountain Aire MADP 4092. We have a second set of 2 light switches located in the bedroom. They are below the main overhead and nite light switch. Could someone enlighten me as to what these control. We have tried the switches in total darkness but are unable to locate what they control.

Bailiff! Do you have a couple of speakers in the BR ceiling? We do and that's what the switches below our light switches control. In our coach, these only work when the radio is on, they are not connected to the entertainment center.

Same in ours, they are speaker switches.

Welcome bailiff to the forum and irv2.
Here is a Brochure and 2001 Owners Guide for you, 2000 no longer available.
The speaker switch's will work for volume off the FAD control of your radio.
Any more questions just ask and congrats on your Newmar, safe travels.

Thanks All for the quick reply. Yes, we have speakers in the bedroom. I'll check it out this evening.

Out of all the used coaches we had look at, the Newmars seemed to have been taken "much" better care of by the previous owners.

We are sure to find many other things to ask questions about.

Might be a little prejudice but you picked a good coach. After you own it for a while and have a chance to talk to others and look at other rigs you will know for sure that you made the right decision. Don't be afraid to call Newmar customer service. They are very helpful.
Happy Trails,,,,
