Our 3 month old Ventana has zero LED's out. I keep looking after reading these threads. Mine seems about the same age as you guys.

Does the DS with its multiplex lighting system use different lights than the Ventana or is it possible there is some sort of voltage/current issue with the multiplex system causing the high LED failure rate?

We have six out and two more dimming in our month old DSDP. I spoke to Newmar CS, and they offered to have the dealer replace them or send new ones to me to do. Since we are just starting a six week trip, I plan to wait a bit and see how many end up needing replacing. There is so much great lighting in this coach, I don't notice bad ones unless I look for them.

The LED issue.
This is my opinion concerning responsibility between Newmar and the LED vendor vendor, I believe Newmar should stand behind the LED warranty that's offered by that manufacturer. Maybe not in labor after the 1 year warranty is up, but at least the product for the three years that the warranty is offered by the manufacture. After all, Newmar installed this product in the motorhome.
Newmar should remain the middleman, coordinator if you will, between their customers and their vendor.

I'm sure they'll see it this way.
The folks at Newmar in customer service shouldn't have a problem tracking this.

It's too bad when you walk into this beautiful Newmar and see a bunch of lights out or worse, half dim flickering lights, whether we think so or not it's a direct reflection on the builder.
What I would rather say is, Newmar standing behind that vendor they're taking care of us.

Please get back to us after the International Rally I and others would be very interested in knowing what Newmar says and how they handle this unique opportunity for them to do the right thing.

I guess I am lucky since my 2012 Ventana 4324 has had zero led lights go out so far. Had a few other issues but the led lights isn't one of them.

2015 Dutch Star LED ceiling lights

We've had our new Dutch Star for one month and 7 of our LED ceiling lights are not working. We'll be taking the unit in to our dealer for some punch list items soon anyway and I'm sure they'll replace them.

Curious. Has anyone with a Ventana or below in the line had these mass LED failures?

My Ventana was built around the same time as the DS's having the failures. So far, none in a little over three months.

I'm going on two and a half months with my 2015 Dutch Star and have gone on 5 trips and none of my bulbs have failed (knock on wood).

I took delivery of my DSDP in early January, no failures for me either (probably shouldn't have said anything though).

WOW, so many light problems. We've had our 2015 Dutch Star for 2 months now. Currently 6 ceiling lights are out or dimming. If the lights are the only thing to fail...I'll be a happy camper. Love our new coach!!!

We took delivery 2 weeks ago and one ceiling fixture completely gone in the bath and the other is dim. Took it to the dealer on my way to Athens, TX (to get the M & G brake system installed), and they were out of LED fixtures :( Are they easy to replace? I'm thinking just to have them shipped to me so I can replace instead of driving back to the dealer - a whipping of a drive.

how to fix the failed lights

Does anyone know for sure whether the bulb inside the fixture can be replaced or whether it has to be the entire fixture?

There are no bulbs, the whole unit has to be replaced.

If you don't want to be held hostage to changing the entire fixture everyone one burst out, get your hands on a traditional fixture and then just buy the LED bulbs.

If you need more info on where to find them let me know.
