Limp windshield wiper?

Hi, I am wondering if any of you folks here have seen or dealt with this problem.

The outer half of the driver-side wiper is not pressed up very tightly to the windows. The passenger-side wiper is fine, as is the inner half of the driver-side wiper. You can see the loose part flapping around a bit while driving. This results in a completely ineffective wiping, so no water is actually cleared from the windshield in this area. Upon inspection, I didn't see anything obviously broken with the arm.

Anyone who had this problem have the solution handy? Replace the whole wiper blade? Bend it?

Is this something I take up with Ford or with Newmar?

Thanks!

"Vacay Wheels"........Why don't so swap the left with the right and see if you have the same issue. It will give you some idea of what's going on, either a bad wiper arm or something else.

The spring may have lost some tension. Can you bend the wiper arm so more pressure is applied?

It's a Newmar issue. You should be able to swap wipers as Dutch Star Don suggested until you can get it serviced. At least with my wipers, there is a specific torque the nuts have to be at, in years past there have been posts where the nuts came loose and the wipers fell off!

Ok, thanks everyone for the advice. I will try these next time I'm out working on the coach.
