Lithium battery option

Now that same 2023’s are out in the wild anyone want to share first impressions on the Lithionics lithium battery package of its functionality? Does it make sense with the 12V system to add a 3rd battery for some additional capacity ?

We had solar and lithium battery up grade on our LA. We went 3 300AMP Lithium and 1200 watts of solar. It is nice with the Victron inverter to run the center AC of the Lithium batteries when traveling. Haven't used the heat pump but we could. Don't do a lot of dry camping but with 900 AMP of Lithium batteries and 1200 watts of solar not a problem for 7 days like we did at Quartzsite in Jan. Would suggest getting 3rd battery.

Master tech has the 48v and 52v options to power the Coach including AC units but very expensive- just want to maximize what can be done with the 12v system without swapping out the 3k inventors etc

It will be another 50 to 60 years before the next generation of 3k inventors are born. All the 2k inventors that solve all the Y2K issues 25 years ago are approaching retirement.

Yeah! I know I am annoying. Everyone says so.

Only you can answer that question ! If you are only going to microwave a couple of cups of coffee and run a compressor refrigerator, 200 Ah of Lithium is probably adequate. (Remember, with Lithium you get about 90% of that 200Ah while with FLA you get about 50% at most !)

If you using the microwave more, or induction cooking, or trying to run AC, you will likely need 400 Ah or more of Lithium.

The 23’s from Newmar have Lithionics batteries not sure on heat pump. You get with the package is (2) 320AH batteries and (2) 3K inverters.

Have 3 300AMP Relion Lithium units for 900 total on the coach and 2 100 AMP Relion Lithium chassis. Have 3AC Heat Pumps 15K BTU units.
