Many mixture valves have O-rings in the inlets for hot/cold and a dislodged ring could impede flow, but disassembly is required.

I am the OP. To finalize this discussion and maybe help someone else, after calling Newmar, they gave me the name and phone number for the distributor for the faucets in my coach - Annod Industries out of Elkhart. I spoke with a tech there and he was very helpful and sent me instructions to remove the ceramic cartridge. It was not obvious, like other faucets I have seen. He said this is a common issue due to water conservation laws requiring smaller and smaller openings. He is shipping a new cartridge to me at no cost. If anyone needs more info, feel free to let me know.

Thank you for this information. Will you share if this fixes the problem?

I contacted Annod Industries and they were very accommodating. They explained the problem and sent me a new cartridge. I changed out the cartridge and tested it and the cold water pressure or volume is still the same unfortunately. Maybe it will work for others though.
So sadly, I am back to square 1.

Yes. Ours is definitely back to normal pressure after changing the cartridge. I sure thought that would fix yours as well.

Thanks so much for sharing all of this. We have the same thing, low pressure in shower, cold water only. All pressure everywhere else is fine. I was contemplating plan to determine the cause. Because of your post Ill start with a phone call for a new cartridge. I hope that works for us.

Mathisw,

There is also a screw on each side of the cartridge that I recommend you remove and clean. You will need to remove the plate to access them. They have a small orifice and spring behind them that is used to adjust pressure. I soaked them in CLR for 15 minutes and then rinsed. Buildup can also affect water pressure. Be careful removing them because the spring behind can get lost. I hope you get it straightened out.

I changed out the cartridge and cleaned both stops and the problem is still the same. When turned all of the way to hot I have great pressure. When I turn ot all the way to cold it is so low the water pump just cycles off and on. This only exists in the shower and it happens with the wand and the rain shower above.

Any additional ideas are welcomed!

Although this was a while back, I wanted to come back here and post that the above suggestion DID resolve my cold water pressure issue in the shower. I cleaned the parts with bleach/water and old toothbrush until they operated freely (sprang back easily). Thank you Desparado13! I was going to replace the cartridge but turned out Im good with this cleaning. It has been working good form several weeks since
