Locked Out! 97 MA

I have apparently locked myself out of my newly acquired MA. I locked it from the inside and closed the door, now I can't get the one key to work that has worked before. I see that the bottom key hole has a little "key" symbol and an "F". Is there a special key for the bottom hole or combination of keys that work? Help!

Many thanks!

Welcome to the forum.
Not much on a search of problem other than finding a Locksmith, either.
Its a first for this one so far maybe some one will have your answer if you have tried all the keys you have.
Any doors like drivers door you may open?
Will add to this info for other things in your coach.

Thx

Thank you for the reply. I did get in through a window. Looks like I don't have the correct key or the lock is broken. One more thing added to the list......

Welcome to iRV2 and the Newmar family.

Does your entry door have the house style dead bolt lock .
The old locking door handles are so problematic , that the dead bolt is the only lock I use.

Yes, it still has the old lock. I do have a key for that and it does work.

This happened to me on my 2007 gulfstream class A.

The door was not locked but I could not open the door from inside or outside.

The spring loaded latch broke in the middle inside the mechanism.

The spring holds the latch in the hole on the jam and you can't open it.

I had to disassemble it from the inside then cut out the latch or striker what ever word works.

Then use the dead bolt to hold the door shut on the way home.

Ted.

X2 - the deadbolt is the only one we use and yes, the other lock uses a different key.
