Locking gas cap for Dutch Star DP?

Any recommendations for a locking gas cap for the DSDP 4369?

Need two of them, keyed alike, for diesel fills.

I have replaced mine in previous coaches, a Dutch Start DP and an Essex. Both were unvented caps. I just matched one up with those that the local auto parts store had, Pep's, Auto Zone, etc. They do not have a pair keyed the same, but I just put paint on one to make it easy to identify.

I did the same as Lug_Nut except I used set of steel stamps to put an "L" and a "R" on the respective keys for the left and right caps.

I tried that on our '00 DSDP and found that even the unvented ones leaked. Took them off and out the OEM ones back. When we got the '02 DSDP I tried them again and found the same thing so I took them off again. I think they're still in the garage somewhere. They were Stant brand as I remember.

Mine are Stant brand and I haven't had a leaking problem. Wonder why the difference???

Do a search on the Newmar fourm. There have been a number of discussions that included the part numbers. Try "locking fuel cap"
