We owned a 95 London Aire for 8 years and traveled over 85K miles. What is your problem and either I or other owners could help with problems.

London Air schematics needed

Thanks Tom,

Still getting the hang of posting here, sorry.

I am undertaking a refurb of our 96' London Aire. Being the electrical and engineering type, I like to have all data for reference on what I own. I have recently experienced some intermittent power outage oddities, and want all electrical and system routings, schematics and diagrams that are available. Newmar is somewhat vague in their routing and wiring diagrams, but good on the specific component schematics. I have hope there are folks that have taken the time to illustrate what they have encountered over the years.

Any suggestions on the above?

Thanks Rkins, sounds like you fell in love with the same beast. We've only logged one cross country trip in her so far, and it was fantastic. We too are going through ours to customize to our taste.

I've come across an intermittent power outage in the past. Seems to occasionally occur when plugged into a 30A services. I can resolve this easy enough if I have the proper wiring diagrams. I'm the electrical/engineering type that loves a challenge. Fuses, for a start, are not identified, so that will be a first step. Knowing the power structure up front, as well as coordinating with you folks can save me many an hour.

Overall, I just need data.

On a Parallel note, my remote genset start just became inop, both at the dash and bedroom locations. I must start at the generator itself, and must hold open what appears to be a relay arm. Again, I would kill for a schematic. Ha

And yes, I found that PDF. Thanks

We've had two DSDP's and I found that Newmar only had generic diagrams, some didn't even list inline fuses, let alone where they were located.
My present CC is much better in that respect but they sure worked hard at hiding the components behind cabinets and covers much better than Newmar did!

Ahhh, at least you've gotten to use her already. We long to do that - our time is coming. I need to make sure she is road ready before we take the plunge. Tomorrow I am tackling replacing the jack springs. Then I'll install the rebuilt solenoids and see what my jacks do.

I am the same type of person and I have not found anything of use as far as schematics for the house. I have a bunch of fuses in the electrical bay that are marked still. If you need the info from them let me know. My dash fuses are marked on the back of the cover (don't ask how long it took me to find that ;-) )

I have read here very recently that if you take the genny cover off (have to find that thread) there are a couple slip on connectors that you can clean to get the remotes working again.
My remotes work but the lights don't light on either of them when the genny is running.
