I guess maintenance records would be the main thing. If they can’t prove that they’ve at least met the maintenance schedule properly, at 42k I’d pass. Also a 2012 should have new or recent tires. Run the slides and jacks a few times to make sure there’s no issues there. Also run the genny and plug in and see that it transfers properly. You can expect to be fixing some things along the way so if a few small things aren’t quite right it’s no big deal, and you can pretty much count on the Newmar construction techniques, but you want to be sure the big ticket items work. also that the roof looks good and free of repairs. And hopefully there’s only surface rust (if any) on the frame and stuff attached to it. Some minor rust is ok, but a lot of deeper surface rust suggests you will be dealing with related issues later.
