Looking for Solution - Bath faucet and sink

Not the biggest things to worry about on our coaches but these two things are a nuisance that I'd like to fix. I have a 2016 Ventana LE 4037.
1) Our rear bath sink does not drain all the way as you can see in the photo and leaves a ring in the st. st. sink that we are constantly cleaning. The drain will not seat any further into the bowl so I'm at a loss on what to do. I surely cant be the only one with this problem so looking for input on how you might have fixed this.
2) Our rear bath shower faucet is very difficult to adjust water temperature. It moves okay but the slightest movement one way or the other can make the difference of freezing water to scalding water. Would like to replace and looking for input from anyone that may have done so.
Thanks,
Steve

Looking for Solution - Bath faucet and sink

Those look like the ones in my 2017
Bay Star The fix for the shower control is replacement. Temperature controlled faucets are available, but the easiest replacement is a 2-handle RV shower faucet. I had one in our trailer and they’re easier to regulate.

The flange on the drain stem can be turned down in an engine lathe for a better fit.

I had the same issue with my 2016 Bay Star Sport bathroom sink. Called Newmar several times and they kept sending me a replacement drain. None of them worked. I finally went to Lowe’s and found a drain that fit. My replacement doesn’t have the push to open/close though. We rarely if ever need to hold water in the sink.

I’d give Newmar a call just incase they finally fixed it.

Replace the faucet

Can't help on the sink but we had the same problem in the shower so I replaced the faucet with this one:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It is a bit heavy as I chose the brass guts instead of the plastic. My faucet is in an unbacked portion in the corner of the shower all accessed from the front. I chose to glue some support pieces behind the shower wall to take some of the stress off the plastic and give the screws something to bite into. Worked great. I turn the hot on all the way and have a mark on the cold, so I just turn to the mark and done. So far it is working fine.

I have a 17 3401 with the same issues. Newmar sent me a new sink stopper twice. The second one worked. They know the problem. You need a larger
piece. The shower is a problem. Dealer replaced mine and it was the same. I just got to know where to set the valve. All problems solved....
