Similar to Fatchance, but in white plastic is the kitchen slide sink rotating connector. I earlier called it a “muffler”.
Newmar just confirmed its purpose to allow the pipe to rotate and the flex hose to move smoothly as the slide is moved in and out.

rodekyll, good pictures, I need another favor your plumbing for slide in a bottom base cabinet way to the left, the wood panel on that cabinet face will pop off and behind it will be your water lines and drain line for sink, if you would take a picture I would like to see what you have and if it changed from my 1998 coach, not sure if you were ever in there just curious.

You may need a flashlight for pic to show up or flash on camera.

Do yourself a favor and spray paint the rusty metal under your slide, things may look a lot better and maybe 3&1 oil on that wire hinge at pivot points.

Here's pictures of our 1999 ds 3865. Our kitchen is on the slider. If you need more pictures, I'd be more then happy to supply more. Never had an issue with ours in our 6 yrs of ownership. We also religiously use the manual slide locks inside. I did grease the cogs and slide rails about 5 yrs ago using wheel bearing grease trying cut down the banshee squel this thing had when we first got it.

Thanks stratob377, interesting, different plumbing than my 98 KS looks like they use white hoses for your water, I had plastic pipes with brass slip knuckles set up like bicycle peddles.
Did you pull the wood panel way to the left of your base cabinets my plumbing was behind the panel.
Will be adding your pictures in the new slide thread.

Interesting setup on your ks.

I'll pull that apart for ya tommorow and take pics with the slide in and out. Both sets of hoses make a 180 degree turn back there and shoot under the shelf for the toilet (p203 option).

Here's the rest of the pics slide in then out. The cabinet has a removable floor for the upper shelf and then another panel with 4 screws to access the trap and lower fittings. included a shot of the slide lock. Ours are easy enough to be able to do by hand. Still have the handle if necessary. The last shot is coming into the main cabinet area under the stove. Lpg line is in copper.

Thanks, now that's a lot different than my 98 year before yours, its almost like they were planing to move kitchens to passenger side with the type hosing and drain you have shown. Your plumbing looks very good with that setup.
Your LP gas line must be a flexible hose also.
Thanks again, maybe someone with a 98 KSCA or DP with kitchen slide MIGHT SHOW UP..

Your very welcome. Glad I could help.

The gas line is, I've never tracked it down yet. I'm thinking maybe its within the scissor arm underneath that comes out with slider?

I think of the coaches I have bought and sold with slides...believe it or not, my ‘97 Bounder 38’ had the best slide out mechanism.. non of this ****** design like we r speaking of.
Big heavy duty hydraulic over electric ram connected to heavy duty square tubing under structure..
These others if it’s not motors coming loose then it’s the shear pins for the drive gears on the tracks.. we pay all this flipping money for these things to have these things break repeatedly...Aaarghhhh

007 not sure what pics you are looking for but I am presently have issues with 2 of 3 slides on my 14' Ventana 4369. These are pics of the slide rails under the kitchen slide that are deeply grooved. Factory said that mis-adjusted rollers did this but the grooves are sharp edged and narrow..more like a fastener fell in. Rollers are hardened and have beveled edges. One pic shows that I took out the "L" couch and carpet to get at the rail. My bedroom slide had the loosening motor bolt problem. All 4 bolts broke the tabs on the motor housing. Have those pics from under the bed if you want.

Chain Drive Pictures

Here's some Chain Drive Pictures. Used when cog rail mounted directly to slid-out floor. One chain got loose and skipped a couple teeth, making retraction uneven last year on Alaska trip.Click image for larger version
