Looking for top-notch RV wash in SF Bay Area

Got a new Dutch Star, Newmar says no brushes on the paint or it voids the warranty. Looking for recommendations for an RV wash/detailer in the SF Bay Area that uses deionized water throughout the process, the safest wash pads, mitts, etc. Last guy that asked this question in 2017 got no answers, hoping for better info in 2022.

Suggest hiring a mobile rv/boat washing contractor.

I used these guys on a recent trip to the Bay Area. I was happy with the work but they are a couple of bucks a foot higher then others. I found them and several others on google so you might just do some calling around. There are alot of options with most of them comming to you. https://jbmobiledetailing.com/rv-detailing/

Check out Blue Beacon truck wash app. They might have one in your area.

Thanks for sharing your first-hand experience with JB. I have spoken with them via text, they are definitely on my short list.

Itís been a while and I assume you found and used a Bay Area RV Wash. Did you use JB and what did you think of their work. My Dutchstar needs some good work and I would rather write a check than get on a ladder.

I have not used JB. Our coach has been washed a few times by OMG Mobile Detailing at 408-320-3847. They are the only approved vendor to wash RVs at the place where we store our coach, thus I'm using them for the sake of convenience. They do a pretty good job...I'm in the same boat as you, this is not a task I am willing or able to do myself.

Thanks CAllingham for the information. I ended up calling both JB and OMG. JB has a nice website and even has a shop in San Carlos. I could have driven the rig to JB for work. However, JB never called me back to answer my questions or to schedule the job. I did hear from Dave at OMG the next morning and we were able to schedule the job for two days from then.

One of the OMG Detailing crew, Hector, showed up the next day in a company van at 8:00 AM. We decided that there was not enough room where the rig was stored in my yard and so I moved it out into the street, and he cleaned the rig there. He had all the tools with him and only needed electrical and water hook ups. He used a high-pressure spray wash to clean the entire rig with water starting on the roof. Then he used a soft mop like end on an extension pole to wash the rig with soap. Finally, he used spray on wax and hand buffed out the entire surface. It took him from 8:30 AM to about 3:30 PM to complete the entire task. This included using a random orbital to buff out a few scratches in the surface finish.

The end result is really beautiful, and it looks like when I picked it up last year in May. They charged me $775 for the job plus $50 for the scratch buffing. That is a little under $20 per foot for this rig. This is a 40' Dutch Star which is 13'2" tall and so there is a lot of surface area. His work included shining up the aluminum rims on all three axles and applying tire dressing. I am very happy with the result and appreciate your contact information for OMG.
