Lost my Xite SirusXM and GPS antennas after windshield replacement

2 weeks ago I picked up my coach after windshield replacement with a Newmar supplied windshield at a local installer. I was asked not to use the coach for a couple of weeks. When I got onto my first trip after the replacement I noticed "check antenna" and no GPS errors. The XM antenna appears to be connected at the XM module.

No GPS navigation. Any ideas how to trouble shoot these issues would be appreciated.

Thank you

Mahdi

When I replaced my stereo, both of these were simple, single wire plug ins in the back of the stereo. From there, they travel behind the dash through the pillars next to the windshield and eventually up through the roof. You might try checking the back of the stereo to see if they were knocked loose when they were working on the windshield. You might also check to see if there's an extension somewhere with a connection that got knocked loose.

Thank you Dizcom for your reply. I called the installer and they informed me that the top of the coach was hit by their garage door. Are the GPS and the XM radio using one antenna?

This may or not have anything to do with this issue - but I picked up our new coach a week or so. As I'm leaving Nappanee I notice the "No GPS" message. Opened up the dash - disconnected and reconnected the GPS antenna - no change. Turn around and went back to the factory - the tech says he changed the HDMI cable and all was good. I did not check everything throughly and found later there was now no audio from any of the sources AND the XM icon is now greyed out.

Called Newmar when I got home - RiverPark the vendor requested I set back to factory settings - only made the problem worse - now had static coming from the speakers - only way to stop was to disconnect power from the main unit.

Called Newmar again - RiverPark authorized a swap of the screen thinking the volume on/off button had failed. Screen came in today - swapped out - still unable to power off unit.

I will be back on the phone again tomorrow!

Fixed! HDMI cable in the rear of the unit was in the wrong port - moved and everything works as it should. Did notice the XM tuner was not installed. Call them again on Monday.

Update. I went up on the roof. Both antennas had their wires connecting from the coach pulled out. I am planning to get new antennas and connect them to get the function back.

If your rig was hit by their door, I'm thinking you should have it looked at by an independent party for damage that you can't see.
