Love bug season appears twice each year. The first season is from April through May and the second is August through September. In total, there are 4 months for love bug season.

Know when to not be somewhere.

I'm guessing about it will be about a month before you have hot water plumbed to the generator.

I had read a previous post where "slabman" had discussed his hot water at the generator. The propeller on my beanie immediately started spinning. I decided not to run the line to the front, but instead, I removed the outside shower and converted it to the hot and cold petcocks like others had done. I have one of those recoiling "As Seen on TV" hoses set up to quickly rinse the nose of the coach.

I have planned to do the shower mod, and that may be good enough. Sure would be nice to have an easy water connection at the front too, but may not be worth the trouble.
Slabman is going to post his pictures and then the fun can start!

I have had good luck with a mix of about 35 to 50 percent water and hydrogen peroxide, sprayed on to help dissolve them.... been using on my motorcycle with no issues. I just cleaned the front of the MH that other day and also sprayed it down with 303 . Looks like they are about done for this batch... only gotta a couple on today.

so you are saying you removed the sprayer hose in the wet bay and instead just hooked a hose right up to it? That's pretty smart if there is enough water pressure at that point. Why didn't I think of that!?

So has anyone come across a good cleaner to loosen all the sexual mojo, aka bug guts, from my front area?

Thanks

Steve, just use a good brush and water to wash off.....tne more water the better...then use 303 Protectant on the shield to get the harder ones off....
Then every time I wash the RV...I spray some 303 on the nose...and in "Love Bug" season.....I spray 303 on everytime I move...Chuck

I use the heck out of those now.

I'm going to try a hot water wash on the bugs next.

Don, I see a cross fitting in your photo and am wondering about it. Can I assume it's for the NEXT project you have up your sleeve? can't wait to see it.....

Don

Did you also hook up that hose to your black tank rinse so all you have to do is open the valve to rinse? If so how difficult was that to do.
