Love the Outside TV

Only fitting to have a thread for those of us that love and use our outside TV.

Outside TV great at PSU tailgates, keeps beer outside the coach and allows for larger crowds.

Outside TV great at the beach, can watch TV while sunning oneself.

Outside TV at Disney's Fort Wilderness - great for watching Disney movies with neighbors.

Just to name a few good uses of outside TV.

Any others?

DW and I have Bluetooth headphones and a 2 channel Bluetooth on the TV audio output. That way, if it's too noisy you can hear. The other is true too, you won't disturb someone that's not interested.

Let the flaming begin

But yes I totally agree with you. What would happy hour be without some quality entertainment? The kids certainly enjoyed Disney movies last month while winding down at Ft. Wilderness.

Ditto ... use them inside also ... no soundbars. We use aptX versions to nearly eliminate lag.

Race weekend. Watch all the prerace coverage before heading to the track and see the recap of the days' action when you return from the track. Sure, you can do this inside, but I much prefer to be outside.

Went to the Final Four last year & we were watching NCAA tourney games at CG's on the way to San Antonio. I had strangers join us every place we went & we really enjoyed meeting folks. So it was great to have. Other than that it is largely unused.

Our rv ends up collecting large crowds when we put the Wii on the outside TV. Starts off with kids and quickly grows to adults.

I often start with a pot of stone soup, and before you know it we have a whole buffet of snacks and socializing.

I love the outdoor tv

We watch News while eating dinner outside. Have a new rig coming with one built in so it will be easier than ever to watch! Have infrared extenders for the Satellite Control, share receiver in Bedroom with outdoor TV.

When we camp with our two daughters and their rigs.....the grandkids like to sit out and watch a movie while the adults are doing dinner prep and cocktails.

Our previous coach had the outside TV with a Sony Stereo. The new one just has the sound bar. We either stream Pandora through the sound bar or we turn DirecTV to one of their music stations and play music it on the TV through the sound bar.

Got ours installed for watching the races while out camping. We quite often end up getting a crowd around the coach as people try to catch up on the goings on.

Love ours also, watching Supercross outside always seems to draw in the neighbors, plus the dogs love to sit outside with us and people watch. BTW adding a mount that tilts 15 degrees down was a great improvement.
