Low air brake warning tone quit?

I have this on the Spartin chassis forum also :

I googled this subject and found one post about the tone generator. Supposedly this item is no longer made.
I called Spartin today and they have one but it's $355. Does any one have a better/ less costly solution. The item is an Entertech tone generator, part# 183-GG-003. There's another # that's 4470-23.
If I knew it was the problem I might be tempted to just pony up and buy the new one. Problem is I have no way to test the old one. I read Dutch star Don cut the housing and replaced the speaker. I'm afraid to cut the unit not knowing if any thing is wrong with it or not. It was working 2 weeks ago. I swapped the front and rear gauge wires to see if it was an issue with the sending units to the gauges but it still didn't work?
Any one out there have any suggestions? Mikee

Maybe google 12 volt buzzer/alarm etc...12 volt low air pressure switch, take your pick!

What does it look like?

If it just has two connections, I am sure you could use domething like this.
Tiffin uses this for the Jacks Down alarm.
sonalert
