Luxury Line Blinds..Day over Night

The luxury line of coaches have a very decorative day shade. The night shade is the typical black out.

In the house portion of the RV, the night shade is behind the day shade. This let's you add a bit of decor and show off the nice day shades.

The front area is the opposite. The day shade is behind the night, so it doesn't allow for decorative display.

Is there a technical reason why Newmar chose to hide the day shade up front, or is this just an oversight during the design and training stages of the build?

I am sure there is a technical reason, as the order has been this way for a number of years. I am certain someone before me has noticed this.

You got me wondering, I will be at my coach on Friday and check mine. Silly question by any chance did the night shade get in front of the day shade?

I have seen this on multiple coaches, and all of the dealer show off videos.

My decorative day shade is outside of my night shade.

Did it come that way from the factory? Is your windshield the same?

That picture I sent was my drivers seat, my windshield and passenger seat window the dark shade is opposite the drivers side. I just noticed this for the first time. I am heading to Newmar after I leave Gaffney next week. I may be adding that to my list

Be sure to tell them you want windshield and passenger side fixed, otherwise they may just change driver side to match all the other coaches.
