Magne Shade Believer

I had my doubts if the Magne Shade would reduce heat in the coach but now I'm a believer. It's 95 degrees with the coach facing the afternoon sun and with the Magne Shade installed the blackout shade just barely gets warm to the touch. Before the blackout shade would be hot to the touch without the Magne Shade.

Anything on the outside of the windshield is going to be far superior to anything you can put on the inside. Once the heat gets through the windshield, it's going to radiate into the interior. I do like my Magne Shades. I did not want to drill holes in my coach to attach sunscreens. I don't like the way the magnets look but I take some comfort in knowing that I can remove the magnets at any time without any 'scars'. And their customer support is top notch!

Agreed; pricey but a game changer when parked directly facing the sun.

One thing that baffles me is why the standard shades only come in black or brown...two very dark colors that I would think would absorb heat...not reflect it. I wonder why they don't offer a cream or some lighter standard color. Obviously if a person wants to pay hundreds more for the photo option a lighter color background can be achieved, but it would be nice to have a choice in the standard shade of a light color.

I'm really close to buying one, actually on the site several times, but I know my ADD will get the best of me staring at those magnets. I think if I pull the trigger, I'll paint the magnets flat black.

I had the same thought, why they do not use darker colored magnets to start with unless painting has something to do with the magnet strength.

We just ordered one 2 weeks ago. We opted for one with custom graphics on the front. We also got the door, passenger window and drivers side. Complete package was $1600.00.

Ours has a graphic on it and the back side is snow white. The only problem with that is that is shows dirt so you have put on a clean windshield and be careful not drop it on the ground.

Don, as far magnets we don't notice them since they top ones you can see and the side ones are all the way to the edge of the window. I did get two blood blisters deal with the magnets.

if you order one get the two poles and the bag. If you have a graphic I would roll it up on pool noddle to protect it before putting in the bag.

I couldn't deal with looking at the magnets. It seemed these shades don't like the wind either. After chasing mine down in the am for the 3rd time I sold them and went back to snaps.
