Magnum Energy AGS Controller

Evening everyone,

Just stopped by the Coach to grab a few things and found that the generator was running even though it was plugged into shore power. Turns out that the shore power had tripped

Anyway, I pulled out my handy owners manual which talks about the AGS system on the’05 Essex. After turning off the generator and resetting the shore power, I pushed the AGS button on the ME panel. It shows the first menu screen of “AutoGenStrtCntrl” but I am unable to change the setting to off. Tried turning the rotary knob, pushing the rotary knob but with no luck.

Checked the Quick Tip threads and those threads didn’t give me any idea of how to set it. Any tips are greatly appreciated

Is there another place to do this? The ME controller rotary button doesn’t respond

Try turning off the salesman switch for 5 minutes. You may have suffered a power spike that tripped the breaker at your shore power pole. Plays havoc with electronics.
