Magnum ME-AGS-S Standalone AGS

Planning to add this AGS to my 2005 KSDP. I notice that the upper limit setting for starting the generator when the batteries are getting low is at 12.0 volts (range is 10 to 12) . Just wanted to check and make sure that setting was not too low. Thanks.

12.0V is not too low with a load on the batteries. 12.14V static is considered 50%, but any load on the batteries will cause the voltage to go lower. Magnum recommends setting it at 11.0V to prevent unnecessary starts. Do you have your AGS already? I have one to sell.

Originally set generator start at 11.0 volts. If inverter was running at same time generator would not start. After trying different settings. Ended at 12 volts for reliable starts.
