Main slide / lock arm problem

We have an '09 Dutchstar DP. The passanger slide came in but the rear lock arm did not open and secure the slide. I tried to reopen the slide and the voice came on but it would not go out. I slightly pried open the rear lock arm and it stayed open but the piston inside is wobbling back and forth. Is this something that I can fix or send in for repair? Thanks again.........

Harry go to QT's 1 & 2 and there are links to info on your problem, Newmar slide spec's.
If water gets in lock may have to take apart and acess the damage and some people have been able to fix.

Thanks 007. I discovered that inside the rear lock, the chrome rod that pushes against the large foot is not connected to anything. The motor and voice promts all work but the rods isn't attached to anything. Looks like a small bolt is laying on the inside as well. The slide will go out and come back (only tried a few inches). Is taking this lock mechanism apart and repairing it a big job?

If you gain the access to lock it sounds like you only need to assemble the parts some have removed the lock because of water damage and have to clean a reassemble the lock as shown in the QT link.
Here is a older version of slide lock spec at bottom of spec.
The Intellitic link would have a new lock.
