Making the parts play nice

I today swapped my 2003 f250 for a 2008 ford edge to pull behind my dsdp. The dutchstar is set up to pull big trailer , so it has a brake controller wired in with a 7 wire plug, can this be used for brakes in the edge someway? I will be 4 wheel down towing the edge.

Welcome to the forum.
What did you use for braking in the 250 when you tow it?
First I heard you could use the brake system of a tow vehicle with out a added brake system to activate the brake pedal of tow vehicle.
Here are a list of different braking systems
Here is one many here have used.

No, each braking system for towed vehicles uses it's own controller.
