Manual for dash radio/CD player

Can anyone direct me to a manual for our 2005 3810 DS DP for the • AM/FM Dash Radio with 6 CD Disc Player and Satellite Radio Capability. I just noticed that we might have the ability to use the satellite radio. I know you have to sign up for the service. I found this cord on our dash attached to a small device on the dash that says XM satellite. Also there is a button to push for "Sat" on the Dash radio.

Thanks for any help.

Do a Google search for the manufacturer and model of the radio. You didn't provide enough info to search.

I agree, on the face of the radio is the make,, With luck there may be a model there too (or the manual may be in your bag).. if the model is not on the face it will be on the body, often the bottom visible if you crawl under the thing, but sometimes on top or back.

Then you Google: Make Model Manual

(Where make and model are replaced with the proper info) and there it is, In PDF form. for you to download.

Shaggy, its helps if you tell us what radio and model you have. If its a Sony, then you will likely have to buy another piece of hardware to make it work. MY sony says it is XM ready, but the cost and availability of a the XM hardware makes it a non starter. Go buy a Pioneer.

It sounds like your in-dash radio is xm ready, but you may need the xm module to actually receive the signal. That is probably what the device on the dash is; a xm module so you may only need a xm account.

Thanks for your replies. There is no brand name on the radio/CD player and it is built into the dash with no way of looking under to visually inspect. I know on my car that if I hit the SAT button it would display a preview channel but this could be different. The next time I take in for servicing I will ask the tech's. Again thanks for your suggestions.
