Map Light...2014 Essex

Maybe I'm blind, but can anyone with the current model Essex enlighten me as to where the driver's side map light switch is located? The manual doesn't seem to provide this info. I see the passenger switch, but I want MY light on! :-)

In my DSDP it is part of the dash light brightness control. Rotate up to turn it on, like a car for dome lights

+1 same thing with ours. Found it by luck. Bring the dimmer switch for the dash past the brightest setting and it will turn on the map light.

Thanks, Al. That is a common approach with automotive sustems. So guess what? Mine doesn't have a dimmer dial....it's a rocker switch! :-). But I did find it....I need to turn the headlight knob to the far left and it works! Thanks for the suggestion.

Glad to hear you found it. Ours has a rocker switch for the passenger map light and I though the bulb was burnt on the driver's side. I actually removed the lamp assembly to check for a lose connection and it was all good. I figured that the wire/s were cut somewhere until I found the dimmer.
