Mattress for Dormi (Fold and Tumble) Sofa

We are considering trading for a new or nearly new motorhome. One of the requirements is to have either theatre seating or recliners on driver side. Most of these floor plans have Dormi sofas on door side instead of sleeper sofas. Has anyone tried using a memory foam (4”) mattress in lieu of the air mattress? If you have, is there room to fold it and stow it when the sofa is returned to its seating position? Thanks much!

I don't believe there would be near enough room to fold and stow a queen size 4" memory foam mattress in our sofa. The air mattress folds and stows with 4 straps, and must be folded correctly and strapped properly so as not to interfere with folding up the sofa. There's a bit of storage under the sofa, but not near enough for this IMHO.

There is not room to fold up any level of mattress other than the air mattress it comes with.
We have found the air mattress to work fine. We have had several guests over the years and they have all been comfortable sleeping on the air mattress.
We did have a leak and needed to replace the mattress. I got it on Amazon
It is about $40.
