MCD Remote Battery Replacement

I need to change the batteries in my 15 channel MCD remote. Can someone tell me how the back of the remote is removed? It's just not obvious to me, and I don't want to crack or damage the plastic.

If it's the large black one that velcro's to the wall, just pry the top black piece off the clear bottom to get to the batteries, a little to each side.
