MCD shade two button remote battery change?

I have the full MCD day/nite shade package on our 2015 DS 4369.

How do I change the batteries on the two button remote above the master bed by the headboard? I can pry the small trim frame off, leaving the two sets of buttons exposed and 4 small screws? Does this whole assembly snap out like the 14/15 button remotes or do I remove the 4 screws and try and catch all the button switches as they drop onto my forehead ?😊

Thanks folks for any help here to change batteries.

Both sides of the two button remote have a little notch on them. Just lightly use a screwdriver within that notch and twist so that the black cover comes out. No need to remove any screws. At the bottom of the now opened two button switch there is a little ribbon you can pull and the battery will come out with it. Place a new battery within that ribbon and push back in place. Snap the black cover back on and you're done.

Note: make sure you slowly remove the battery to see which side is showing so you can replace it that same way.

Thanks Ted. I did remove cover and could see the edge of the LI battery & ribbon. I will pull carefully on ribbon and replace battery tomorrow.

Thanks !!!!! 👍👍

You're very welcome Bob

I added a Two Button switch on my Bedroom wall opposite the bed so I could raise and lower those Bed Night and Day shades without climbing on the bed every time. They're very easy to program as an add on without losing the ones above the bed.

Thanks Ted- adding a second is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!

Changes battery this am-thanks once again. Will order 2 set of buttons Monday.

If our paths ever cross- I owe you a beverage of choice. Climbing across a king size/foam edged sleep number mattress is something I can really do without.

Thanks Ted !!
