MCD Shades, bedroom shade won't go down

Our bedroom shade under the TV won't go down or up. The ones by the bed operate fine. We did change the battery in the remote a month or so ago and it worked after that, but in the last 2 weeks in won't do anything. Thanks in advance.

Do you have both a Day shade and a Night shade? Does one work and the other doesn't?

Neither one day or night will work.

One thing to check would be to hold the little push button on one of the shades for programming and see if it beeps. If it does you have power. But the odds of both motors going out at the same time is slim so somehow you probably lost power to those shades. I'd call MCD and speak to a tech who might know where the wires were run or speak with Newmar about where they ran the wires for power and a possible fuse location for them.

On my bedroom Mcd shade the wire connections are behind the valence. Really small wires with wire nuts connecting the shade to power supply wires. I would check these connections.

Great, so you can check for power. I'm going to include a PDF from MCD on programming just in case but the shades should not lose memory if power was removed, only if the program button(s) were pressed and held until beeps are heard.
