ME2012 Chassis Ground

I noticed over the last few weeks a dangling wire in my storage bay. Turns out it appears to be the ground for my inverter. Is it safe\OK to just reconnect it or do I need to follow a process to ensure I don't fry anything?

Its connected to the chassis and loose from the inverter....

Thanks!

Since the inverter is bolted to the chassis the ground wire is redundant. Connecting it can't do any harm unless you accidentally touch a live connection.

Agree with Algoma, just hook it back up to the chassis ground terminal.
