Mid cabin powder room lock

I have a 2020 Newmar Dutchstar, itís my second. Neither had a lock on
The powder room. Has anyone added a locking door handle or Is this a safety
Issue not getting trapped in there?

Simple solution is to add a sliding latch on the inside. I have yet to see any RV with locking bathroom doors.

Welcome to iRV2.

I just changed mine to a standard bed/bath privacy handle set, works fine.

I replaced mine with a bathroom locking knob, I purchased at Lowes. Found one with the screws on the outside, so it can be unscrewed if someone gets locked in.

I bought a bath door lock at Lowes as well. It has a small key that unlocks from the outside, and it hangs on a pin above the door, in case anyone gets locked in.

This is the one I bought per recommendations from a previous thread. No modifications at all. I only had to change the factory handle. There will be a circular plastic piece that you have to remove from the new door knob. If you purchase this you will see what I mean. It is the diameter of the knob and needs to be removed for the install to work.
