Question Monitor Panel in Water-Sewer Bay

Anyone else think it would be a good idea to have a additional monitor panel in the water-sewer bay area to easily know that the levels are without having to go back into the bus and check as you are filling/dumping/cleaning. Anyone retrofitted a monitor in the bays???

Essex and King Aire do and have for a number of years. I too think it would be nice but then again there is the cost concern added to the coach.

Dr4Film where are you?
Pretty sure Richard has installed SeeLevel gauges in his bay and posted a pic before. A nice project but have not gone there yet.

Actually, it might be somewhat what convenient when filling the fresh, but you've got the overflow, and ballparking the time at about 5 gal/minute works pretty well, too. For drain/dump/clean functions, a 5" clear section works for me.

The thought that's crossed my mind is that I'd like a more definitive and substantial separation between the potable water functions and the sewer, drainage, and dump functions. Not necessarily a separate bay, but just a sectional barrier of some kind. I know in my head that if its not a full bio barrier then its only cosmetic (and functionally useless), but I've modded a small separator in my wet bay, and it makes me feel better-- God, I feel like I'm on Oprah!

Yes, I miss not having an indication of levels in the water bay.

Guess I'm in the minority on this one. I would not use a monitor feature in the utility bay. I know my coach and have no need for a monitor panel in the utility bay.

Thanks. This is the info I need. Did you just get the display and a new wire harness and then tap into your original monitor wiring??

If you have enough wiring you would need to identify and leads and determine what will connect to what.
You may need to extend some wiring in living area for the location of display, the tank areas should be OK to new strips.
Draw a blue print so you have something to follow.
