More Oasis problems
Hi I tried searching the various posts but nothing much came up relating to my latest oasis system issues. First I had no hot water in the shower. Burner was on. After fuming with cold hands I decided to turn the rear heat on to see if it worked. It did and then I got hot water. Next Morning no hot water at the kitchen sink. Burner and ac on. After looking over the troubleshooting manual I can’t see these problems nor what to do. Any suggestions appreciated..after 2 Dutch Stars only the Oasis system has consistently caused problems. Frustrating.

Sounds like you are having stir pump issue. In the bay on the wall to right you will see a silver box with lights. That’s showing what your zones and pumps are doing. At the top in the center is an override switch that forces all the pumps to run to make up for a bad pump. Turn that on. It’s marked on the cover off/on. You need to get the Coach to NIRVC or any service center to have the pumps inspected. This is a temporary repair. Switch must be left on to keep hot water going. It will also cause the Coach to heat up as you are moving hot coolant through all the heat exchangers.

I had similar issues, summer loop pump, try the bypass switch and see what happens, if you get a hot shower, you know it’s the summer loop.

Thanks for the suggestions. Note however, I was getting hot water at the shower fine until this last 3 day outing. When I got no hot water I decided to see if a pump was out and I turned rear heat on for zone 3. Furnace came on as did the burner then with hot water. That seems like a weird workaround. No hot to kitchen sink seems even more strange. Checked the oasis…system on, ac on, no faults.

There are three pumps, when you turned on the furnace you got the other pumps running. If you don't have the furnace on, the system ONLY uses the one summer loop pump for hot water. As stated, simple test, flip the rocker switch on the box and see if you have hot water.
If you determine its the pump, I would buy two and have a spare.

Yep...sounds like a bad summer loop pump. Mine went out last October in the middle of a trip. Hot water one day...none the next. As suggested, flipping the rocker on top the control panel will activate the main loop pumps and heat water, but don't leave that switch on all the time as it does cause extra wear on those pumps because they will run continuously.
